Description

We are currently seeking several Data Entry Processors for one of our clients. These are long term, temp roles with a great chance for you to demonstrate your work ethic and abilities in an office environment. There is the possibility that these roles become temp to hire positions in the long run. For now, they're estimated to last 4-6 months. You'll be expected to go through classroom training, and learn quickly all the aspects of this role. This includes terminology, computer systems, specific rules and protocols, and more. This is a production based role, meaning you'll be measured both on the quality and quantity of your results.

Responsibilities:
Process and update scans of patient information into client database, making corrections as needed.
Update customer information, pointing out errors or inconsistencies to the scan results as they occur
Correct errors which may exist, take corrective action as needed.
Scan, file, upload, download various paper and electronic files to existing database
Use computer database to update client/patient records, maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times.
Assist co-workers and managers in other departments (ie Customer Service) as needed

Skills:
Computer skills - able to type names, addresses, phone numbers, codes, alphanumeric and 10key skills preferred. Typing ability to type approximately 40-50 words per minute with high accuracy rates.

Qualifications:
Experience using MS Excel for data entry; and MS Word for document preparation.
Ability to learn and participate in classroom and hands-on training for new content
Customer service skills/mindset
Comfort level uploading/downloading or attaching electronic files to and from web sites
Critical thinking skills to analyze and make sound decisions
Computer skills relative to typing 40-50 words per minute, using multiple computer applications concurrently
High School Diploma or GED required
