Description

We have a need for a waiter/waitress/server for a large corporate dining room located in downtown Birmingham. The ideal candidate will play a major role in providing the best quality service possible. "Service with a smile" is necessary to assure that the guest has a great experience. It is important to be sensitive to the needs of the guest and possess a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:
Requirements for the position:
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment
The employee provides black pants, white collared shirt and black non-slip shoes
Maintain a well-mannered and professional presence at all times
Ability to communicate professionally with executives
Minimum of two years serving experience in a fine dining environment
Experience in private dining, corporate events, and executive events preferred

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Set and reset tables and chairs for guests
Deliver and refill beverages
Responsible for accurate order taking and delivering to the kitchen
Communicate the daily menu and answer questions regards ingredients

Employees are provided with a black tie and apron

Two or more years experience
Ability to lift, push or pull 40 to 50 lb banquets, carts, etc.
Ability to meet and maintain the criminal background check requirements
Ability to pass the drug screen and random drug screens
