Description

We're actively seeking a Graphic Designer for one of our Albany area clients. You'll work within the Marketing department and updated documents, print/digital images, set up layouts and more. This will include simple ad copy, logo work, multiple page brochure/collateral, trade show documentation, etc. This person will have experience working with Graphic Design/Layout software in a fast-paced, flexible office environment. Responsibilities:
Produce layout and design samples for internal customers
Provide revision samples as needed
Create online and print content for marketing
Handle Type-setting, layout and design elements of projects (small and large scale) including brochures, presentation documents, PDFs, etc.
Deftly handle time-sensitive deadlines with poise
Prepare files in various forms (eps, tif, pdf, jpg, etc.) as needed

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
We're seeking someone comfortable with juggling priorities, adjusting on the go, and is amenable to a fast paced environment.
You'll frequently be making changes to various files, but need to remain consistent with corporate branding and imagery standards for the organization. You'll be asked to help with changing the layout, size, and format of brochures, PowerPoint templates, social media art work, and more. Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite in a Windows environment (non-Mac) - specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
1-3 years in a prepress/production role
Strong typesetting, image editing, and layout skills - able to create and edit image files (JPT, PNG, PDF) for print, web, social media.
Good copy writing skills to generate fact sheets, post cards, small and large formate signage, infographics.
Experience creating documents and imagery which are ADA Accessible/compliant for web use.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
2 or 4 year degree in Graphic Design/Communication preferred
Ability to assist customers with creative needs
Must provide a portfolio of pieces
