AccuStaff has been successfully placing professional office support personnel within Capital Region employers for over 30 years. Let us help to match you with one of our long-standing customers!

We are currently seeking several Administrative Support professionals in a wide variety of roles for our clients in Albany, NY and surrounding cities (Schenectady, Rensselear, Colonie, Delmar) Candidates should have 1-3 years of previous experience working in a professional office environment. Most positions are bus line accessible but some positions may also offer free parking!

Responsibilities:
Typical responsibilities may include:

Handling internal and external public inquiries via phone/email
Greeting visitors, answering calls, and other front desk duties
Attend weekly/monthly staff meetings, taking notes
Researching product or services inquiries based on client needs
Utilizing customer specific electronic databases (including: MS Word/Excel) to create business documents, or track client information
Performing routine office duties such as copying, faxing, sorting, filing, etc.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Ability to multi task, answering telephones, entering information into the computer
Able to type 35 wpm or higher
Able to compose a professional grammatically correct email or other correspondence
The ability to be reliable and on time for your shift

High School

Experience:
Experienced

Qualifications:
1-3 years as an administrative assistant or related experience
High School diploma or GED required
Able to navigate computers effectively (MS Word, MS Excel) with good keyboarding skills
Good listening and communication skills
Effective time management skills
