Currently we are recruiting for a Part Time Help Desk Support Representative to work in a long term part time position for a NY State agency. Position could last as long a 1 1/2 yrs, through October 2020!
Job site offers flexible hours just need to be worked between 9 am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, for a maximum of 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Job duties of the position would be:

  • Call center duties, taking calls and dealing with customers and general Level 2 application support related issues.
  • Uphold and enforce Security policy and procedures of System applications.
  • Document issues and the resolutions and report to state supervisor.
  • In depth troubleshooting of supported web browser versions, applications and issues.
  • Troubleshoot access application permissions and individual account processing.
  • Verify security levels for for NY.gov employees.
  • Handle access issues for Secure File Transfer and Secure Collaboration applications.
  • Account maintenance (creating and maintaining).
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Working hours: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Approximately) Could also work 9am - 2pm for example

Must have experience with troubleshooting web browser and application issues
Must have experience enforcing security policy and procedures

1-2 years of IT Help Desk experience is preferred
Associates degree or higher in IT would be preferred
