job description:

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a client just outside of Amsterdam, NY. This is a leave coverage position estimated to last until January 2020. You must have a customer service mindset and approach to your work flow (customer comes first). You'll be required to handle some volume of inbound customer calls. On those calls, you'll be answering caller questions, verifying key points of information including pricing, product specifications, checking past order history and more. It'll be your focus to ensure that the caller receives the best experience possible.

Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for updating client records, taking detailed notes, processing orders or applications, soft selling product lines and services, updating our clients database with information related to options their clients have selected. Patience and the ability to work with a wide customer audience are required.

Among the "other duties as assigned" includes things like filing, faxing, mailing, preparing emails, collating of various pieces of information for follow up and more. You'll also actively participate in daily and weekly team meetings, as well as solicit and provide feedback to management.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

1-2 year's work experience from a customer service or administrative role.
Demonstrated experience with heavy phone work load
Ability to interpret information and make decisions based on policies and procedures (escalating where appropriate).
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to review and execute complex tasks consistently.
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
Basic Math skills required include calculating discounts, interest, and percentages
High School Diploma required
