Description

We are currently seeking a first shift Shipping Assistant for a production facility in Glens Falls. This is hands-on role is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. We are seeking a candidate who's not afraid to get their hands dirty, while balancing reporting and other duties in a busy work environment. You'll help wherever needed, but core duties will include order fulfillment, printing shipping labels, using Excel to input key data, as well as online tools from Fedex and UPS. Our client has an appreciation for the environment and loves to have people who are mindful of sustainability.

Responsibilities:
Manage the inbound/outbound flow of raw and finished goods
Enter shipping information into Excel files for tracking and reporting purposes
Inspect incoming/outgoing loads as needed
Track shipments, and resolve shipping issues
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, update database
Organize, manage, and prepare shipping loads for early/on-time deliveries including shrink wrap, pallet builds, etc.
Perform Inventory Management to record all materials in the facility
Prepare specialty shipments for select customers
Assist co-workers and managers in other areas as needed

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
