Description

We are currently seeking a Test Technician for one of our clients. Candidates should have previous electronic or mechanical QA or testing experience. This is to be considered a temp to hire position.

Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot and repair various parts and equipment.
Perform electrical tests, prototype tests, and additional engineering test on existing products prior to customer usage.
Complete test and service reports
Maintain work area testing tools and test equipment
Use schematics and mechanical drawings to ensure equipment conforms to specification.
Work safely and communicate any potential safety concerns to management

Working hours: 3:20 PM - 11:30 PM

Skills:
This is a 2nd shift based positions 3:20pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:
2-3 years troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment
Mechanical, electrical, and vacuum system testing and repair experience
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, as well as understand geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
Experience using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies
Experience working with AC and DC voltages, vacuum systems, cryogenic liquid handling, helium leak detection, voltage measurements (nano range).
Basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to record and report findings.
Good oral and written communication skills to prepare reports and update database files
Work well in a team atmosphere and independently
Associates Degree or equivalent technical training/military experience dealing with Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Tech disciplines/trades.
